Documentary: Brave Are The Fallen
In 2014 I started a short film that was very personal to me. It was about the life and death of my uncle Captain Thomas Wall who died putting out a fire in Riverside County. In 2019 I met a new producing partner, Jason Horton with Zapruder pictures, and we were able to take this project to the next level. After months of hard work, we produced a feature length documentary that shows the difficulties and joys in a firefighter’s life. The film was then submitted for video streaming on demand distribution and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
An everyday hero, Captain Thomas Wall was a protector and a leader to his family both at home and in the firehouse. This documentary demonstrates the relationships he created as a servant to his community and how he became a source of inspiration. After delving through Tom’s past and completing this project I feel closer to a man I’ve looked up to for years. I can only hope that this film emphasizes how great of a man Tom really was.

What’s in Production?
Documentaries
Production will begin at the end of March for two true crime documentaries. While the topics of these documentaries will be kept a secret until the end of production, I can say that both involve criminal cases in the Orange County, Riverside, and Los Angeles areas.
Narratives
The narrative production team is currently discussing several projects in development. The top three of which are a science fiction space film, a cop drama, and a psychological thriller. The chosen project is estimated to begin production later this spring.
Book of the Month
Moneyball by Michael Lewis is probably one of my favorite books. Before I read this book I didn’t really like baseball. Now I’m fascinated by the sport. The business lesson behind this book is that face value isn’t everything. By analyzing statistics on an asset, the projected worth can be calculated to be ten times more valuable than the current cost of that asset. Billy Beane does just this as the Oakland A’s manager, drafting baseball players unattractive to the league, and turning them into all-stars just by the simple use of algorithms.
